Empty Houses
An empty house is one that is not occupied by any planets at the time of birth. But this does not necessarily mean that, that particular area of life represented by the house is unimportant.
Meanings of the 12 Houses
To delineate each house in your birth chart, read the sign on the cusp1 of the house, as well as any planets in the house.
Angular, Succeedent, Cadent
The houses are not all equal in strength and power. If a planet is located in an angular house, it is much more forceful in its effects than it would be in a cadent house.
